I hope everyone is having a great summer so far.  July 4th is just around the corner.  We will have a float in the Temple Terrace July 4th parade, our 7th year in the parade!  Let me know if you would like to be in the parade with us.  More information below.  
 
Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there.   Enjoy your day!
 
Fall registration will open in July. The Meet and Greet will be Saturday 9/23/2017 and Opening Day is Saturday 9/30/2017. Mark your calendars!

July 4th Parade
Come on out to Temple Terrace to watch the July 4th parade. The parade starts at 10:00 am. If you want to be in the parade, email me on the link below.  Evening festivities are from 6-9 p.m., located at 1st Fairway of Temple Terrace Golf Course, 200 Inverness Ave. (Between Belle Terre Ave. and Woodmont Ave.) There will be food vendors and music. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

Player Spotlight -  Sam Hocking
Sam Hocking
Sam is 20 years old and attends Gaither High School. This is his fifth season of Buddy Baseball. His favorite thing about summer is summer camp. If Sam had $1000, he would buy Power Ranger Toys. Sam's favorite candy is Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
Buddy Spotlight - Jennifer Wood
Jennifer Wood
Jennifer is 18 years old and has been a buddy for a very long time. She has a three foot bearded dragon named Sammy and four dogs, three of them are rescues and two of them are pit bulls. Jennifer would like to have a snake, but her mom won't let her. Her special talent is drawing and her favorite restaurant is Kobe.
Rookie Spotlight - Malcolm Boyd
Malcolm Boyd
Malcolm is a buddy on the Hit Squad and this is his first season of Buddy Baseball. He turns 17 on June 13th and attends Tampa Bay Tech. He plays baseball on the varsity team and hopes to play baseball in college. His favorite food is a meatball sub. Malcolm's favorite subject in school is Math and his favorite musical artist is Drake.
Coach Spotlight -  Jill Lamb
Jill Lamb
Jill is a Florida State graduate and has coached for six seasons with the Bombers and Blazers. Jill has been teaching since 1993.  She has taught students with disabilities for over 11 years. Jill has one child who just graduated from high school and she's a buddy with the Bombers. Her hobbies are reading, traveling, enjoying nature-(kayaking, walking, camping) and eating yummy foods. She's a pescatarian and her favorite food is the Sunrise Smoothie bowl from SOHO Juice Company. Her favorite restaurant is Marché in Toronto, Canada.  
Grandparent Spotlight
Wayne and Madeleine Davis
Madeleine and Wayne Davis

Madeleine and Wayne have been coming to Buddy Baseball games since the very beginning. They have been married for 54 years. Madeleine is from Massachusetts and Wayne is from right down the road just south of Brandon in Balm. They have two children and one grandchild.  Madeleine was a stay-at-home Mom and a nurse. She enjoys socializing and getting herself in trouble.  Andrew calls her Tutu. Wayne is an entrepreneur doing "some of everything."  He likes to ranch and snow ski.

Dr. Duga Dr. Feeney and Associates Pediatric Dentistry have been sponsors for the past five years.  Dr. Duga's children have been buddies in the past until graduation.  One season they hosted a foreign exchange student and she was a buddy, too.
