November 2016
Hello Buddy Baseball Fans,

What a great season this has been! Our 100th Day Celebration was the highlight of the season.  Thanks to The Brink Foundation for their event sponsorship and the Tampa Bay Rays players Jake Odorizzi  and Corey Dickerson, announcer Dave Wills and team mascot - Raymond for coming out to the games to help us celebrate this milestone event.

Our end of season party will be on Sunday, November 13th at Pin Chasers on Armenia Ave. from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. There is more information below.  We need you to register so we can get an accurate headcount for the party.

Our next season willl start on Saturday, February 25th, 2017 and go until April 8th, 2017. Registration is now open on our website.

We have a Buddy Baseball video that has been nominated for the "Be Relevant" category of the 2017 WEDU Be More Awards.  Please help us out and vote for us.

Thanks to all of our sponsors and volunteers for their support in making Buddy Baseball a success.

100th Day Celebration
The Tampa Bay Rays weren't the only ones that came out to celebrate our 100th day with us.  The USF baseball and softball teams,  the Temple Terrace Fire Department and  race car driver Mike Nelson with his race car joined the fun.  There were tasty treats for all.  The Tampa Bay Breakfast Sertoma Club cooked hamburgers and hot dogs,  M&B products gave out ice cream sandwiches and Pop N Good had delicious Kettle Corn and if that wasn't enough JJs Amusements had fun activities for the kids.

Buddy Run

We had a great turnout for our 6th Annual Buddy Run.  It was a huge success!  In the 5K Race, Kade Lefort a Buddy on the Tigers got the silver medal in his age group.  His Dad - Rick won the bronze medal for his age group.  Jason Woodell a coach on the Thunder placed second for the silver medal in his age group.  Bobcats coach, Thomas Meeke won the bronze in his age group.  We also had a few of our players participate in the Buddy Dash.
Thanks to Suncoast Credit Union for your title sponsorship!
