We're investing over $60 Million to improve achievement next year! Come learn about it.

School Board Members are hosting Budget Info Sessions this month to help stakeholders learn about the budget approval process and our investments for the 2018-19 school year. All sessions start at 6 p.m., and free dinner and childcare is provided.  The next meeting is TONIGHT at Oakhaven HS. Check out this summary of our proposed 2018-19 investments. Teacher and leader raises, school safety, early learning... there's a LOT of good stuff planned! If you have questions, please plan on attending a session.
How much do we want great teachers? We're willing to pay you to help find them!

SCS employees have an opportunity to earn some extra cash! To encourage the referral of quality candidates to our team, HR is offering employees potential compensation for referring teaching candidates to SCS. If the candidate is hired for a full-time teaching position, the referring employee will receive $500! Click here for more details.
We're listening! Tell us EVERYTHING!

Did you know that taking the Communication & Engagement Survey increases cognitive performance by 37%? OK, so we can't back that fact up. BUT, we do know the survey helps boost our District's communications, engagement and customer service efforts. Tell us how we're doing and what we can work on over the summer to make SCS better next school year. The annual survey is also how we measure confidence in the District each year, so you can tell us if you think we're on track (or off track) in reaching our Destination 2025 goals. At the end of the survey period we'll be awarding some cool prizes for participation, too. So get to it (please)!
Suddenly can't access some external websites? There's a reason for that.

If you’ve had a hard time accessing some external websites recently, it’s because of security concerns with the District’s network. As a way to prevent hacks, phishing attempts and other cyber risks, the IT team is blocking all sites that generate from outside the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The only exception is if a site is on the District’s list of approved vendors. We understand this is causing some complications for those who depend on certain external sites for daily work. It may also limit access to information and resources shared in our internal publications if you try to access them on the District’s network. There is no timetable for allowing these sites to be accessible again. If you have questions, please contact the IT Help Desk at 416-2700.
