August 2017 Newsletter
From the director...

The Hudson Valley has so many wonderful things to offer - beautiful vistas, hiking trails, wineries, arts & crafts fairs, historical museums and festivals. Summertime is a great time for exploring them all. Visiting these venues, however, can be quite a strain on the pocketbook, especially if you have a family to take along. One of our goals at the Cornwall Public Library is to enable our library members to sample some of these offerings without any expense to you. Were you aware that we currently hold memberships to Boscobel, the Frick Museum, the Intrepid, the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum, the Storm King Arts Center and the Gomez Mill House? Did you know we offer passes to visit these locations for FREE or discounted? Everything you need is at the service desk and you can check out these passes using your Cornwall library card. Our staff will explain how long the passes can be borrowed, but there are no reservations - it is first come, first served. Beautiful days stretch before us - why not check out some places you've never been, and enjoy them, on us!

Happy trails!
