Hallmark Partners Hosts 'Princess Ice Cream Party' for Emma and Dreams Come True

Emma's childhood has not been like most other little girls. Diagnosed with neuroblastoma in August 2011 when she was just 11 months old, Emma has since completed 8 cycles of chemotherapy and undergone major surgery to remove the large tumor that was wrapped around her right kidney. This month marks the two-year anniversary since Emma's last treatment. But her most recent scan showed four cancerous lesions on her liver. There will soon be more tests to determine the next course of action.
In spite of the circumstances, doctors remain optimistic and Emma continues to carry the glow of her strong and loving spirit. Emma and her family recently visited Disney for a week, a dream trip provided by Dreams Come True, the Jacksonville-based nonprofit dedicated to granting dreams for children with life-threatening illness. Hallmark Co-founder and Principal Jeff Conn, who serves on the board of Dreams Come True, followed-up Emma's Disney trip by inviting Emma to be Hallmark's 'Dreamer' in the inaugural Dream Day Campaign.
Hallmark has set a goal of raising $5,000 that will be matched by Mac Papers (in fact, Mac will match up to $250,000). The fundraising effort was launched this week with a 'Princess Ice Cream Party' at Hallmark's  corporate offices. Special kudos go to Hallmark's Janine King and Rhonda Nesbitt who volunteered to serve as princess hosts in honor of Emma. It was a wonderful and emotional afternoon and a reminder to all of what is most important.

Hallmark to Host NAI Florida Principals Meeting
|
Principal representatives from a dozen NAI offices across the State of Florida will be in North Florida at the end of the month for a two day planning meeting. The event is being held at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. NAI is the single largest, most powerful global network of owner-operated commercial real estate brokerage firms. Member firms are leaders in their local markets and are managed cooperatively to provide exceptional solutions to commercial real estate needs both locally and globally. State and regional affiliates meet regularly to strengthen the network. NAI Global also hosts a series of conferences each year that bring together the entire global network of 375 offices worldwide.

On April 24, Blake became the 45,000th cancer patient to hitch a ride on a Corporate Angel Network-arranged flight when he flew from an airport in White Plains, New York, back home to Florida after getting treatment at Columbia. Corporate Angel Network is a charity that for 33 years has connected cancer patients who need to travel for their treatments with companies that have empty seats open on corporate jets they own.

Hallmark Welcomes Summer Marketing Intern Elisabeth Pancoast

 Hallmark's already very capable marketing efforts are getting an added boost this summer as Elisabeth Pancoast joins the team for a summer internship. The rising Senior at Florida State University is a Graphic Design Major. Raised in Ponte Vedra Beach and a graduate of Ponte Vedra High School, Elisabeth knows the North Florida market very well and hopes some exposure to commercial real estate will better refine her goals as she approaches graduation. Hallmark utilizes a strong suite of design tools to produce some of the most sophisticated communication initiatives in the commercial real estate industry. From Adobe InDesign to Illustrator, Constant Contact to Wordpress, Hallmark deploys a sophisticated combination of hardware and software for its own corporate brand as well as clients.
