MALE SHOPPING BEHAVIOR

Retailers are constantly looking for new ways to reach customers. Today's man shops more than ever before but overall men are seen as a reluctant demographic. Times are changing and so are male shopping patterns. The reasons for this change are numerous. Men are marrying later in life. Due to divorce they are spending more years alone. Today's marriages tend to contain more equanimity in terms of household responsibilities. These changes create new opportunities for retailers to engage the male consumer. Learn More

CHANGING THE WORLD WITH INNOVATION

How can organizations change the world with innovation? How can they develop processes andstructures for managing innovation and building innovation into their corporate strategies? These questions companies have been asking for many years. But organizations do not necessarily have a plan for innovation in their company, according to Dr. Donald Amoroso, the Lowder-Weil endowed chair for innovation and management at Auburn University at Montgomery's College of Business.

JOURNAL AWARDS BUSINESS FACULTY WITH "PAPER OF THE YEAR"

Dr. Zack Jourdan, associate professor of Information Systems, and Dr. Rhea Ingram, dean of the College of Business, co-authors of "Internet Marketing: A Content Analysis of the Research," have been recognized by information systems journal "Electronic Markets" and awarded "Paper of the Year." 

 

"Electronic Markets is ranked as the 29th best journal in information systems," said Jourdan. "The journal has a social science citation index with an impact factor of 0.769 in 2013."

 

According to Rainer Alt, Editor-in-Chief of Electronic Markets, high quality papers are essential for an academic journal."All papers published in Electronic Markets in 2013 were considered."
