GVCC Members, Free Entry to Friday's Networking Workshop
GVCC members can attend the DIY Marketing Center's Next Level Networking Training event for free on Friday, August 11th at 9:30am. This workshop will teach you how to introduce yourself with confidence and credibility, and maneuver yourself into a position to magnetize referrals. The Clark County Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board is accepting nominations of businesses and individuals for the Disability Employment Awareness Community Awards. The awards honor the role people with intellectual or developmental disabilities have in a dynamic, productive workforce and recognize leadership in the business community. Nomination forms can be found online. Deadline for submitting nominations is 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2017.

Columbia Credit Union awards $10,000 grant to Innovative Services NW for technology improvements. This donation will complete their fundraising effort to purchase and implement new software and hardware upgrades for their accounting, human resources and fixed asset system. These technology upgrades will allow Innovative Services NW’s programs to better serve even more children, adults and families in need in the community.
