Tips for Marketing to the Government

Lenora Leasure, Program Manager, PTAC

Did you know that news releases can be the most powerful marketing tool a company has at its disposal?  As you build your database of government contacts, you can regularly email news releases, highlighting contracting news for your company.  Topics could include: competing for a contract, winning a contract, hiring to complete a contract, etc.  The purpose is to build a strong identity for your company.  Be sure to notate "News Release" in the email subject line, as well as your company name and the title of the release.  It is suggested to send out these releases no more than once a month.

For more tips on marketing to the government, contact the PTAC today at (814) 254-4022 or (814) 254-4023 or via email at [email protected].
