Careers in Demand Weeks Informative and Fun

JARI and the PA Careerlink of Cambria County provided career awareness activities to 742 students from eight school districts.  Activities included seven industry tours as well as a number of interactive games that offered in-depth discussions with business representatives regarding the skills and education needed for various occupations.

 

"The presenters were friendly, knowledgable and enthusiastic which led to an invaluable learning experience.  This was an excellent way to tie in Pennsylvania's Academic Standards for Career Education and Work," says Brian Gibson, Guidance Counselor, Blacklick Valley Junior Senior High School.
