The Chamber Notebook:
Leede Research Group
Manitowoc's Leede Research Group a marketing information leader
Leede Research Group is a full-service marketing information company that began as a home-based business through work as a marketing research class project in college. Dean and Sheila Halverson founded the corporation in 1982 and currently have offices in both Manitowoc and Minneapolis.
Leede designs and deploys custom information programs that gather information generally used in marketing and management decision-making. This ranges from small businesses to national brands. Almost half of the company's work is related to development. This brings together product development, branding, marketing communications and other new concepts.
The firm is also very strong in customer experience measurement, including Net Promoter Score, a cross-industry measure of customer loyalty.

Think.Love.Play.
Manitowoc County
Kelly Wilfert and Kramer

Meet Kelly Wilfert and her family farm, Wilfert Farms!

Favorite thing about Manitowoc County:  Kramer and I enjoy exploring the horse trail at Point Beach State Park, but my favorite part of Manitowoc County is the strong community feel. In high school, a friend once said to me, "It must be awful living here! Everywhere we go - someone knows you." Today, that's one of my favorite things. From Mishicot to Meeme, it kept my younger self on my toes and continues to make me feel welcome countywide. It takes a village to raise a child, but those of us in Manitowoc are lucky enough to have a whole county.
