The City of Fort Wayne now officially has a Riverfront Development Fund. At its Tuesday meeting, the City Council unanimously approved an ordinance creating the fund that will hold $6 million in Legacy Fund dollars committed to the first phase of the Downtown riverfront development project.

LFW Concert Series
Enjoy the July Concert


The second Living Fort Wayne Concert Series this summer returns on July 1 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.! Enjoy live music from Left Lane Cruiser and Fernando Tarango & the Wickersham Brothers with food trucks and fun activities for the entire family! Due to flooding, the concert will be held under the Rothchild Pavilion (Headwaters Park West, just south of the Amphitheatre).

Council sets Hearing Date



On July 14, the council will hold a public hearing on a proposed tax abatement for the 143,000-square-foot Cityscape Flats project planned for west of Parkview Field Downtown.

A portion of each ticket from this year's event will be donated to the Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities. This year they will feature wines from Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and more.

West Main Street Antique Market 

 

 

West Main Street Antique Show and Market is Saturday, June 27, from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Shop select antique and vintage street vendors along the West Main Street corridor from Paula's Seafood to the Redwood Inn. West Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic. Free general parking is available and provided by Power Componets Corporation at 1936 West Main, O'Sullivans Irish Pub at 1800 West Main, and Unity Presbyterian Church at 1600 West Main. Food vendors, live street music, face painting for the kids, a hospitality tent and carry out lunches from Paula's Seafood are available. Stop by Fort Wayne's only street wide antique show this Saturday!
