RibFest 2017
Headwaters Park

It's that time of year again! RibFest returns to Headwaters Park June 15-18, 2017. The 20th annual RibFest is four days of unbelievably delicious, mouth-watering BBQ served up just the way you love it by National Award Winning BBQ teams from across the country.

Open Streets Fort Wayne
Calhoun Street

On July 9, 2017 you can experience Fort Wayne in a unique way. By joining us for the City's first Open Streets Event anchored by the historic, Calhoun Street. The event closes streets to traffic and opens for pedestrians, bicyclists, and rollerblading as well as fun-filled activities in a more than two-mile block party atmosphere.

Hobnobben
Presented by Cinema Center

Hobnobben Film Festival is where film lovers rub elbows with film makers, in Downtown Fort Wayne. This will be the Summit City's second annual multi-day, multi-venue film festival, presented by Cinema Center, a nonprofit film organization with 40 years of experience in the community. 4th of July Fireworks
Annual Celebration

The City of Fort Wayne announced the Indiana Michigan Power Center in Downtown Fort Wayne will again be the location for this year's Fourth of July fireworks show on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

Fort Wayne Greek Festival
Headwaters Park

Celebrate the 37th Greek Festival and enjoy a large variety of Greek cuisine and entertainment including live music, dancing, a raffle drawing, and other activities each day.

Lunch on the Plaza
Freimann Square

Due to popular demand, Lunch on the Plaza returned to Freimann Square with live music for people to enjoy outside during lunch every Thursday throughout the summer. This will be a 14-week season!
Citilink Passes via Mobile App
Use the Token Transit app

Token Transit is a mobile app to pay for public transportation. Using the Token Transit app, riders can purchase transit passes on their smartphones and board the bus by showing the driver a pass on their phone.

Silent Films
Embassy Theatre

Embassy Theatre presents three black and white silent movies this month, each featuring music performed on its Grande Page Theatre Pipe Organ.

Riverfront Park Has a Name
Promenade Park

City officials have referred to the planned downtown riverfront park as Promenade Park for awhile, but now it's official.

Johnny Appleseed Park


2017 marks the 29th year for the Weigand Construction Duck Race to Benefit SCAN. On the evening of June 17, hundreds of people will be at Johnny Appleseed Park for fun, games, and to watch the plastic ducks splash into the St. Joseph River and "paddle" their way to the finish line!
