Several hundred community members, students, teachers and staff attended the official Groundbreaking of the new Corsicana Middle School. The new school is projected to open in Fall 2017.

CHS Gold Winter Guard DOMINATES at Competition
|
Corsicana Gold Winter Guard competed at the North Texas State Championship competition Friday, April 1 against schools of every "A" class and took 2nd place and earned a Prism Trophy. In just their first year of competition, the CHS Winter Guard has dominated. Congratulations!

Carly Casbeer, senior at CHS, received the Manning Award along with Grand Champion Steer, Grand Champion Showmanship Steer and Grand Champion Senior Showmanship Hog.

Ivie Award along with 4th place for her Rabbits and 1st & 2nd place in Senior Creative Arts.

Kindergarten students at Fannin Elementary had a blast at their RODEO!
|
Desitni Lunsford led the Tiger basketball team and the district in scoring again this year as a senior, won the Offensive MVP award again and repeated as the Golden Circle MVP.
She has a 3.99 GPA and will graduate third in her class, leaving behind a legacy in the classroom as well as on the basketball court.
