Delta Conservation Framework Outreach Workshops

The California Natural Resources Agency, California Departments of Fish and Wildlife and Water Resources, Delta Conservancy, Delta Stewardship Council, and Delta Science Program are inviting other agencies and stakeholders to help develop a high level 25-year Delta Conservation Framework. Join the first of three community workshops to vet concepts and work products as they are developed to inform the Delta Conservation Framework document.

Photo of the week  - What do Jon Bon Jovi and the Great Barrier Reef have in common?
They have both experienced fake death reports! Last week Outside Magazine published an obituary for the Great Barrier Reef ( link here ), drawing backlash from some members of the scientific community ( link here). The Australian government is working to save the reef and in March adopted a plan that has been largely applauded by conservation groups ( link here ).
