Greetings CAAHEP Commissioner,

The CAAHEP Office is Moving
There is a lot going on around CAAHEP these days. First and foremost, the CAAHEP office is moving! Effective April 4,2016, our new address is:

25400 U.S. Highway 19 North, Suite 158, Clearwater, FL 33763

Please make sure to change our contact information in your records. Our phone and fax numbers will remain the same.

Annual Meeting Notice
Secondly, the CAAHEP Annual Meeting is April 10-11, 2016! Last week, I sent via email the annual CAAHEP Business Meeting notice to every Com m issioner. The announcement included the Annual Meeting Book, with meeting material and Annual Meeting and Business Meeting agendas. If you have not received a copy, please contact Lorna Frazier-Lindsey. It is imperative that all Com missioners attend the meeting, as this is one of the most important duties you have as a CAAHEP Commissioner. The meeting provides you vital information on CAAHEP activities, an opportunity to learn more ab out the organizations and the professions we serve, and affords you the opportunity to vote on important issues - including election of Board members. Please note that the room block at the Memphis Westin Beale Street closes on March 8, 2016, so please make your reservations before the cut off. Visit the CAAHEP website and refer to the registration information for all of the details.

Update on CAAHEP's Efforts to Address CHEA's Outcomes Mandate
As reported in January, part of CAAHEP's recognition by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation ( CHEA) is assuring that all accredited programs are publishing appropriate outcomes for the programs in a readily accessible place, preferably on each program's website. Each of the Committees on Accreditation has created a policy on what outcomes are to be reported, and the policies have been shared with every program.

The CAAHEP staff has been working diligently to collect and enter each program's URL (web address) where the outcomes are published and include this web address in the CAAHEP database. When potential students search for accredited programs through the CAAHEP website, the link to each program's outcomes will appear in the search results, helping the potential student to make informed decision on his or her education. To date, we have posted URLs in 66% of the records of CAAHEP accredited programs. We receive updates and new URLs to post weekly, and will continue to add and maintain this information as it is received.
