YOUR HELP IS NEEDED TODAY!

We need to urge the Legislature and Governor to oppose the cuts to child development. A budget package will be adopted by June 15, 2012, the time to act is NOW!

1. Contact your local Senators and Assemblymembers where you live and work. Let them know you are a constituent, and give them your address in the message. The web sites to find telephone numbers are:

3. Most Importantly, call, write or e-mail the Governor to tell him that he needs to save child development programs for low income working parents and for the children. That the best policy is to have all child development programs in the Department of Education, including CalWORKs Stage 1.

Please tell your networks and friends to take action TODAY. The more people who take action, the more our voices will be heard in this very important time. Thank you for stepping up for California's children.
