In 2017, scholarships were awarded to 3 high school seniors and one college student. Hailey Warta, the daughter of a Yuba City Firefighter, started earning her Fine Arts degree at the Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts this past fall. Mikayla Hand, the daughter of a member of the Beverly Hills Firemen’s Association, started pursuing her Nursing Science degree at the University of California, Irvine in the fall. And Hannah Martin, the daughter of a San Francisco Firefighter, started working towards her Humanities degree at the University of California, Berkeley this fall. Zaryn Cardoza, the daughter of a Roseville Firefighter, is continuing her pursuit of a double major in Business Administration and Biology at San Diego State University. CPSA wishes them all the best in their pursuit of higher education and looks forward to learning about this year’s applicants.

Applications and all supporting documents must be postmarked by April 2, 2018. Scholarship recipients will be notified mid to late May.
