Apply for a CPSA Children’s Scholarship
Before April 2
Since California Public Safety Administrators, Inc. (CPSA), CAPF’s Plan Administrators, started the Children’s Scholarship Program more than 100 children of CAPF members have received scholarships to help them achieve their educational goals. Each year CPSA awards four $500 scholarships to students pursuing their education at colleges, universities, and vocational training programs. Three scholarships are awarded to high school seniors and one scholarship is awarded to a college sophomore or junior continuing their education. CPSA appreciates the opportunity to give back to the members of CAPF and help their children in their educational pursuits.
In 2017, scholarships were awarded to 3 high school seniors and one college student. Hailey Warta, the daughter of a Yuba City Firefighter, started earning her Fine Arts degree at the Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts this past fall. Mikayla Hand, the daughter of a member of the Beverly Hills Firemen’s Association, started pursuing her Nursing Science degree at the University of California, Irvine in the fall. And Hannah Martin, the daughter of a San Francisco Firefighter, started working towards her Humanities degree at the University of California, Berkeley this fall. Zaryn Cardoza, the daughter of a Roseville Firefighter, is continuing her pursuit of a double major in Business Administration and Biology at San Diego State University. CPSA wishes them all the best in their pursuit of higher education and looks forward to learning about this year’s applicants.

If your child will be attending a college, university, or trade school next fall, please encourage them to apply for this year’s scholarships. The information and application packet may be downloaded below. Applications and all supporting documents must be postmarked by April 2, 2018. Scholarship recipients will be notified mid to late May.

CPSA wishes all applicants success in their future academic endeavors.
