A Great Body is Worth the Effort
Here at CARES, we've been busily putting together a multimedia campaign to reach out to the community of gay men and encourage them to get regularly tested for HIV. The key word there is regularly. Sure, testing infrequently is better than no testing at all, but to have reasonable assurance of one's status, regular testing is important. Twice a year is all it takes to make sure one is either HIV negative, or that it's caught early enough to not be a serious threat.

So, how are we getting that message out? We know lots of gay men who spend considerable time on their bodies to look good, so in our new campaign, we compared that regimen to the relatively brief time it takes to check one's HIV status. Want a sneak peek? Visit the CARES website to see what it looks like.
