Over the last year CARS has been lucky enough to produce a range of events in many different neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles.  In doing so, we have discovered many small businesses that we have grown to love.  Here are a few of our favorites:

Koreatown: Our offices are located in the historic Wiltern Theater tower in Koreatown.  where we are lucky to have a wide selection of cultural cuisines. Sabores Oaxaquenos is a hidden gem, serving up some of the best molé dishes we've ever had.  3337 1/2 W. 8th Street, LA, 90005.

Chinatown:
After spending many days and nights in Chinatown producing Chinatown Summer Nights, we know the neighborhood inside and out.  The Flock Shop
is a great little store, featuring handmade goods by local artists. Stop by for all of your holiday shopping needs! 943 N. Broadway #103, LA, 90012.

Little Tokyo:
We needed lots of coffee to stay awake during all the exciting happenings at Little Tokyo Design Week and stumbled upon Cafe Dulce.  They serve LAMILL coffee, and have some of the most amazing and innovative baked goods.  Try the sno-cap roti and the brick toast!   134 Japanese Village Plaza, Bldg E, LA, 90012.

With 25 years of experience, Community Arts Resources creates opportunities to engage with culture and community.  Through the navigation of the urban landscape, CARS develops new models for the design and activation of public space.  Our work is built upon the principles of strategic collaboration, connectivity, exploration and celebration.
