Clergy Evaluations

It is the time of year for the annual review of pastors in the Capitol Area South District.  The evaluation form that was developed by the Conference Board of Ministry to be used for the evaluation process can be found HERE .  It is the expectation that each P/SPRC member and each pastor will use this form and prayerfully participate in this important endeavor with sincerity, grace, and love.  Pastors, you will fill out a personal evaluation and bring it with you as you attend your formal evaluation.  Chairpersons, you may make copies of the evaluation and distribute them to members of your P/SPRC that they may each provide input if this would be prudent for your context.  However, a final evaluation (1) form that is a written composite of your committee's work with the pastor is to be submitted to the District Office no later than  December 1, 2016 .   If you have questions or concerns, please call the CAS District office at 614-222-0600.

Rev. Patty Wycuff (Fairview, Pickerington) lost her niece and is traveling out of state to the funeral.

Ms. Caroline Braley, wife of Rev. Harold Braley (retired pastor and former annual conference registrar) and aunt of Rev. Alice Wolfe (Baltimore Christ UMC).  Caroline has been in ICU for 23 days and is in a very slow recovery after major heart surgery and complications.

A Passionate Plea for Students in Zimbabwe

As part of my heartfelt commitment, I write to share with you some heartbreaking stories of vulnerable children in this part of the world.
For  my June newsletter , I share a heartbreaking story of vulnerable students in Zimbabwe.

I am also sending out my prayer request to you to please mention me in your prayers always as I have had so many trials and tribulations on the Mission field since my arrival.
Yours sincerely,
J ROSE-GMF Class 2015/2017
We are thrilled that since the beginning of Love Packages we have been able to
send over 13,000 tons. We have seen thousands of people saved, healed, and
delivered as a result of this literature. Pastors and Sunday school teachers for
the first time have material to study and teach from. Love Packages currently sends 20 foot ocean going containers to port cities around the world. These locations act as distribution points and have the capability to distribute these materials to thousands of churches overseas.
Everywhere we have gone in America we have found people with literature, and
they didn't know what to do with it. If you are one of these people, Love Packages is
here to help you put that literature in the hands of people who are hungry for the
Word of God.  Our vision is simple. We want to see all  of our excess, the materials that are
being wasted, placed on the mission fields of the world. Won't you help?  Click here...
