Part Two: Exploring Scripture
  Sunday, February 28, 2016 -  4:00 pm  to  6:30 pm
In September, 2015, over 900 laity and clergy participated in a Circles of Grace conversation focused on human sexuality in The United Methodist Church. The feedback indicated a desire to continue the dialogue and explore how the Bible can inform our conversations.

We are excited to announce Circles of Grace Part 2: Exploring Scripture. The evening will be an opportunity to participate in small group conversation with your sisters and brothers in Christ and to hear from two of our West Ohio elders as they explore scripture.

In 2015, we introduced a movement to expand the dialogue in our community on mental health and mental illness. We call it Change Your Hue of Blue . Blue can be a warm sunny day or a beautiful Caribbean bay, but it can also be the deepest sadness to the point of being inconsolable.

It is a story of HOPE...hope that we can make a difference in our own communities and around our state, and a story of DESPAIR...despair experienced every day by millions of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Ohioans, unnecessary in today's world.  Read more.....
The Summer Impact Program
Hyde Park Community UMC in Cincinnati is a program set up to invite youth from all over the country to come join us in making an impact on those living in poverty and homelessness in Cincinnati. Appropriately named, Summer Impact offers six week-long experiences that immerse both ourselves and our friends in building relationships that will leave an impact on the hearts and minds of all involved.

In order to allow the experiences to run smoothly for youth groups who come to the city, we employ 3-5 interns each summer. If you have completed their first year of college (or equivalent experience), have a growing relationship with Jesus, are interested in working with middle and high school youth during the summer, and have a heart for mission, you can find more internship specifics and information at    hydeparkchurch.org/summer intern

If you are part of a church group looking for an unforgettable mission experience of building relationships with those in the city, visit   hydeparkchurch.org/summer-impact for more information about the program, then venture over to   hydeparkchurch.org/2016 registration  for available dates, cost, and to submit a group application.   Additionally, please check out our  video  for a look at the heart of Summer Impact.
