A featured extra will be needed to work this Sunday, February 5 for the SAG-AFTRA feature film SOUTHERN CHRISTMAS.
The role of "Modeling Coach" has now been upgraded to featured extra at the rate of $125 for the day. The role will only be needed for a few hours on the day, for one scene. The scene will be with the film's stars Bo Derek ("10"), Brighton Sharbino ("The Walking Dead") and former Miss Oklahoma Paula Trickey ("The O.C.").
The "Modeling Coach" needs to be female, 5'9" or taller, aged 35-45, any ethnicity, and look like a former high-dollar, high-fashion model. She needs to provide her own NY/Paris-type fashion attire. In the scene, she is hired by Elsa (Bo Derek) and Ida Beth (Paula Trickey) to whip Jessie (Brighton Sharbino) into shape. There are no lines.
Pay for this role is $125.
FIlming will be in Guthrie, OK.
Travel compensation and hotel accommodations will NOT be provided.
The film, directed by
Harvey Lowry (MONDAY AT 11:01 AM), is a comedy about two girls: Kara is a rich teenage girl that has always had everything money can buy. Jessie is a poor tomboy with lots of attitude. When seated next to each other on a plane, they strike up an unlikely friendship. They soon find they're both on their way to spend the holidays with relatives they've never met. Since neither really want to go, they devise a plan to switch places and have fun with it until they're sent back home. Problems arise when they find they actually like the families they meet. With a little help from Santa and a Christmas wish, they find the families they have always wanted.
