Our Mission:
We exist to magnify God and spread a passion for His glory by making disciples and shepherding them to value Jesus Christ above everything else.
The Marks of a Healthy Church
by Pastor Patrick Carmichael
The Church wasn't our idea; it was God's. And Jesus established the Church for SO MANY purposes: to bring glory to Himself, to save sinners who otherwise would be lost forever under the wrath of God, to unify a diverse people, to provide fellowship, encouragement, and help in the midst of life's greatest trials and joys. The list could go on and on, but one thing is abundantly clear: Jesus loves the Church and has an amazing design for Her, so we should love Her too and seek every day how we can be a part of Her amazing design and purposes!

This is why we will be starting our new series on the Church THIS Sunday during Family Bible Hour. I called and asked Mark Dever to fly out to personally give us a conference on the church (not really). He can't because he is extremely busy pastoring his own church in Washington D.C. (really). So the next best thing is to have him speak to us through DVDs and share what the Bible says about the Church. We will be watching the DVDs, which are about 20 minutes long, and then dialoguing together about where we are doing well, where we need to work together to fix something or align it more closely with God's Word, or where we need to completely stop or overhaul something altogether. This will be a great time as a church family to gather together and assess how we are doing as a church in light of God's Word.

I'm so very excited to be led through this material by Mark Dever with you all. I'm looking forward to seeing all the Lord accomplishes in our midst together this semester. So come, ready to be encouraged in the Truth!

We'll see you all THIS Sunday in Family Bible Hour at 9:00! Already CAN'T WAIT!
