The 24th Annual Scholarship Classic was a success!
Thank you to all who donated, participated and contributed to the 24th Annual Scholarship Classic presented by Lexus. This year's event was unlike any other!

Along with golf, tennis, Zumba and bid whist, attendees were motivated to get moving and stay active with the "Ready Set Walk!" fitness challenge provided by State Farm. Those with the most steps were recognized and awarded prizes.

During the awards luncheon Destin Pace, a 2016 Summer Congressional Intern summed it up best, "Programs like this give us young adults the support we need to achieve our dreams and goals."

If you haven't had an opportunity to support, t here is still time to donate!

CBCF Emerging Leaders experience China first hand!
Last month, 20 business, trade, and STEM students traveled to China through our highly competitive Emerging Leaders: U.S.-China Study Delegation program.

Their two-weeks studying abroad offered diverse educational and cultural activities through Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. Our emerging leaders even got a sneak peak at technological advances in transportation not yet seen by other parts of the world.

"My overall experience there was phenomenal," said emerging leader Kareem Edwards. "Our Chinese hosts were extremely welcoming and showed us the best that China had to offer. "
