Let's make the New Year a Sweet One by baking for the Erev Rosh Hashanah Oneg! 
All baked goods should be delivered to CBI by 2pm on Friday, September 11th.  Label your items with the type of baked goods, the amount of pieces and your name.  Your baked goods must be able to be freezer ready.  All bakers will be acknowledged in the bulletin.

FRIDAY NIGHT SERVICES

Are you looking for an easy way to to get involved at CBI?   We are looking for greeters for Friday Night Evening Service to help welcome members and guests to CBI.  Greeters are an important part of our Friday night service!   

 

Greeters arrive 45 minutes prior to services, enjoy the warmth and the return smiles as you wish a Shabbat Shalom and hand out prayer books to everyone attending services.

MELIKIAN BIBLE COLLECTION

The Plotkin Judaica Museum will host the Melikian Bible Collection:  Wanderings of the Sephardic Jews from Spain and the New World to India.  Lectures presented by Robert Bjork, Professor of English, ASU & Director ACMRS, Sharona Fredrick, Assistant Director, ACMRS and Joel Gereboff, Associate Professor of Religious Studies, ASU.  $10 admission.   Reservations required.
