Update on Search for New Executive Director
Since the announcement of Jay Cerny’s retirement, the Board has been actively working on recruiting an Executive Director for CCA. The Board will provide periodic updates on the recruitment effort. Please note that given strength of CCA brand, solid financials, and being in a charter friendly state, the Board believes that CCA will be able to attract strong candidates.

  • During June’s Board’s meeting, the Board approved hiring a search firm to help with this process.
  • A search committee comprising of 2 Board Members, 3 Parents, and 4 CCA admin / teachers has been formed. The goal of the search committee is to vet the current candidate pool and identify the top candidates that would eventually be considered by the Board for the Executive Director position.
  • Timing of hire: Depending on the pool of candidates currently being reviewed, it is possible that we will be able to fill the position by the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. However, if the current pool of candidates does not contain top-tier candidates, the search committee will begin the search process over during the 2018-19 school year. The Board and CCA administration are prepared to handle both of these scenarios.

Greetings CCA Families,

We are wrapping up our first year of Cub Scouts with Pack 222- CCA’s own Cub Scout Pack, and we’ve had a wonderful time. Next year, our program will be expanding in some exciting ways. Family Scouting is a new model being introduced that allows both boys and girls to experience the fun and engaging scouting experience. We often have siblings attending our meetings and participating in our events. Now- these siblings can fully participate! If you have a son or daughter who might want to participate in Cub Scouts this summer or next fall, fill out  this form  and we’ll be in touch!

If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to email Jasper Peters . You can find answers to some frequently asked questions  here .
We're downstairs in the new and awesome innovation space.
We are excited to let you know about our new Champions Parent Portal that makes it easier for families to enroll, update their schedule, or access their account information. There have been several improvements to the system but there are a few we know our families will be most excited to see. They will be able to quickly enroll in 6 simple steps, enroll multiple children at once, and be able to connect when they are on the go with the mobile devices.

Champions before- and after-school programs give busy families peace of mind. Parents like knowing their kids are in a safe, educational, and fun environment, even when school’s not in session. We’d like to extend that peace of mind to families who are not yet attending Champions.

We’re excited to make the Champions experience available to all your families and reach out to new families that will be joining you this Fall. We are hoping you’ll help us spread the word and help guide your families to our new Enrollment Portal by linking our website to your school webpage.  This is a great way to share with families that your school has a great option for their children before- and after-school.
