Monthly Minutes
June 2017
A Message from Child Care Aware of NH
Welcome June! The gardens are blossoming, the birds are singing, and it is a great time to be outside.

This month, CCAoNH is finishing the last of the scheduled trainings in the Annual Training Calendar.  We have two more special Saturday events planned for this training season, which are the two final sessions in the Brain Development Series with Scott Noyes .  See below for more details about these events.  We are also adding a Water Safety Training in July.  Typically CCAoNH does not provide summer trainings; however, we have received multiple requests for a Water Safety Training. More details to come.  Please note that this will be our only training offered in July or August.  We will resume trainings in September.  If you are looking for training over the summer months, please take a peek at Child Care Aware Training Academy.  This site offers online training options for early childhood professionals.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you do for families and children.  We hope that you enjoy this month's edition of Monthly Minutes.

Resources to Share with Families
Vroom Cooking Eggs
Tip Activity

Children learn like scientists. They test out their ideas and then look at the results to come up with answers. Cooking in this way not only helps children pay attention, but to remember past cooking experiences, and learn to make connections.

Click here or on the picture to watch, the Vroom Cooking Eggs Tip Video!
Do you Vroom?
Check out how  Sheena Baldwin, of White Birch Center, in Henniker, New Hampshire uses Vroom in her program.  Her Vroom bulletin board was created with a Strengthening Families approach, in hopes to build positive and meaningful interactions between children, care givers, and families.

If you are doing something awesome with Vroom, let us know by emailing outreach2ccrr@snhs.org
