This Weekend at CCC
Refugee Crisis Presentation     
Saturday at 3pm
Refugee crisis presentation will be held in the Connection Corner, Rm#205. Markus Alt, the Director of GR3 Europe in Switzerland was recently on the shores of the Greek island of Lesbos, helping the refugees arriving in overcrowded rubber boats, trying to escape the atrocious conditions they faced in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan & other war-torn countries. He will provide a visual presentation of this humanitarian crisis this afternoon in the Youth room. All are welcome!    
Greater Collegedale School System (GCSS) Update Meeting

Come join us on a journey to know our God more and deepen our love for Him as we study the inspiring book, Steps to Christ. The title of the book tells its mission. It points the reader to Jesus Christ as the only One who is able to meet the needs of the soul. Studio Room, #218 at CCC.  
An 11 Week Women's Beth Moore Bible Study Began Last Week

Souper (Super) Bowl Party & Chili Cook-Off       
Feb 7 at 5pm
Plan to come for a fun evening of flag football, football golf, and other games, before the big game! Admission price -- canned food/soup for the Samaritan Center. Meet at the church pavilion and bring your favorite soup; we'll provide grilled cheese sandwiches & drink! Pastor Brad has thrown down the oven mitt and has challenged the church to a chili cook-off. Biblical Prescriptions For Life

Biblical Prescriptions For Life DVD presentations with discussions led Pastor Jerry Arnold will begin on Wednesday, Feb 10 at 7pm, in the Conference Rm #203 and will go for 7 weeks. You must RSVP to attend by contacting the church office: 423.396.5464.  
Communion & Anointing Service

Our quarterly Communion Service is coming up on Friday, February 12, at 7pm in the church sanctuary. An offering for our Member Assistance fund will be taken. Please join us as we observe the Lord's Supper.
   
Children's Church      
Feb 13 at 11:45am 
Children's church is a place where your children will learn about God and His great plan for their lives. We look forward to seeing your children immediately following the children's story during third service on February 13, in the Connection Corner Rm #205. Children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by an adult.   
Valentine's Day Banquet        
Feb 14 at 6pm    
Valentine's Day banquet will be held in our Fellowship Hall & all are invited. This is a fundraiser for the CCC Youth Mission trip to Missouri to help the residents recover from the recent floods. The cost is $10 per plate. Please RSVP to: [email protected].

New Subsidy Policy        
CCC has a new tuition subsidy policy for the 2016-17 school year. ALL students attending an area SDA school will be REQUIRED to fill-in and submit the Enrollment Notification Form at www.CollegedaleCommunity.com by July 31, 2016. Please stop by the Welcome Desk and pick up the information sheet containing all of the details.
