Supper for AMEN Clinic Volunteers

Oct 2

CCC members will provide a potato bar supper for the volunteers staffing the free medical/dental clinic connected with Impact Chattanooga at the Convention Center. We need your help either with monetary or food donations, preparations and delivery. Please contact Rebecca at [email protected] to volunteer. Sign-ups are at the Welcome Desk.

Special Missionary Vespers

Oct 3 at 7pm

Jesus for Asia invites you to an evening of inspiring stories from the mission field of how God is working to bring the Gospel to the billions of unreached peoples in India, Thailand, and around the world. We plan to have an interactive Skype session with one of our missionaries in India and a group prayer time. Please join us in the CCC's Connection Corner, Rm#205, and be inspired to be a part of what God is doing in the world today!

Godly Parenting

Godly Parenting, a 10-week Living Free class that provides practical parenting skills for each stage of development from prenatal through adolescence, will begin Tuesday, Oct 6, in Room 218. You are invited to an evening of stirring music with Martin Young & his special guests Claudia Ramirez and Dove Award nominee Jeff Nelson. Admission is free; CDs will be available for purchase after the concert.

CCC Campout is being planned at Chester Frost Park. Mark your calendars now and join the fun, whether you can spend just an hour or can stay for both, Friday night and Saturday.

Critical Alert Text Messages
We now have a text message alert system to be used for church emergencies and event notifications. We will use this alert system to let you know if the church driveway is passable in snowy weather, to warn you of a real-time emergency during church or to remind you about large events at CCC. One Bethlehem Still Night Needs You

We are still looking for more volunteers to help with the Christmas production. Areas you can assist in include costumes, food, sound/lights, backstage hands, sets, helping with the children, and the chorus group. Brian Gallaher's Family - Benefit Concert

Southern's School of Music is holding a benefit concert on September 27 at 7:30pm in Ackerman Auditorium to honor Brian Gallaher, one of six fatalities from the massive I-75 pileup in Ooltewah during the summer. Gallaher was an Ocoee Middle School band director who would often perform with Southern ensembles. In an effort to assist Gallaher's family, the university is matching proceeds from ticket sales; an anonymous donor has agreed to do the same. Tickets are available at Ackerman Auditorium for $10 beginning at 6pm on Sept 27. Call 423.236.2886.
