October 25th, 2012

Dear Cougar Family,

This Friday night at our football game at 7:00 PM at Williams Stadium, we will be recognizing our senior athletes in football, cheerleading, band, and color guard. The core of any student organization is senior leadership, and we are blessed to have a good group of students who represent both our school and our Lord well. We'll honor these senior athletes at half time.

With report cards out we have put the first quarter to rest and are eager to see how well our students perform in the second quarter. Our little ones in preschool have already made much progress this year. These wee folks bring us all such joy. What a privilege we have as a school where three year olds all the way through 12th graders can come and be educated and grow together.

"Worth It: The 15,000 Hour Decision", by Dr. Brian Simmons, president of ACSI, was distributed to parents at our Open House in August. Hopefully you've been able to read or skim through its pages. For many of us, a Christian school education has been all our children have ever known. After having put my two children though Christian schools, from K3-12th grade, I can tell you looking back that it was worth it all! All the sacrifices, all the things my wife and I chose to give up was worth it so that our children could receive a Christ-centered, biblically based, academically sound education.  Has this year been "worth it" for your children? I hope that it has. If it has been worth it, tell someone. Better yet, recommend them to us, bring them to us. Click here for a digital synopsis of "Worth It: The 15,000 hour Decision".

Hope to see many of you out this Friday night at our last home football game. So excited about what next year holds for our boys, as Coach Miller will have an entire year to prepare our team for the 2013-2014 season. You won't want to miss it!

In Christ,

Andy Wright
