The CN Prayer Place: Where Two Or More Are Gathered

Each year, Catholic Charities' Caring Network Program serves hundreds of pregnant and parenting women and families who are dealing with difficult situations and challenging decisions. Our services are designed to offer much-needed assistance with physical, mental, and emotional needs as we help mothers to prepare for the birth of their baby and families to create safe and loving homes. We invite you to help us serve these families spiritually through the newly established Caring Network Prayer Place.

Every Monday and Wednesday from 12:00 - 1:00 PM volunteer Prayer Partners are gathering at the Caring Network's Van Domelen Center (1441 South Westnedge) to lift up our mothers, babies, and families through prayer. Throughout the week, our clients and staff are encouraged to submit specific prayer requests and we gather to pray for them, requesting the grace, peace, health, and hope that only God can give to each mother and family.

You are invited to join us in this important task - or to visit the Caring Network Prayer Place at other times during the week for solitary prayer. The Prayer Place is open between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. We have resources available to assist you in your prayer and the need is great. Please join us in praying for new life and the families who welcome it. If you would like more information about this opportunity, please contact Sue Heffron Hajec, Prayer Place Coordinator, at [email protected] or 269-548-8954.

Come One, Come All, Come HUNGRY . . . to CharitiesDine!
The 3rd annual CharitiesDine takes place November 19th, 2014!

On that day, participating restaurants will donate at least 20% of their proceeds -- from breakfast, brunch, lunch, linner, dinner, and dessert -- to Catholic Charities to support our mission and our services.  It's the yummiest way to support CCDOK all year long!

Please check your e-mail and our website as we are adding participating restaurants soon!  Then, grab some friends, your family, the office gang, your neighbors, or some random person off the street and take them out to eat on November 19th.
