What is the Annual Giving Campaign?
The Annual Giving Campaign is made up of yearly gifts from parents, faculty and staff, the Board of Trustees, grandparents, alumni, and friends of the school. Each year is a separate drive designed to meet the
operating needs
of the current year. We are asking for 100% participation from every CCDS family! No donation is too small.

ERB Test Scores Will Be Sent Home on May 15, 2018
Recently all 3rd-8th grade CCDS students took the Comprehensive Testing Program Test. This test is published by Educational Records Bureau (ERB).
CCDS uses the ERB to improve curriculum, teaching, and learning through diagnosis of assessment results that address essential learning standards.
Parents are always eager to see how their children scored on these tests.
CCDS will distribute the ERB Test scores on May 15th to all families whose accounts are paid in full
. Please contact the business office regarding the balance on your account.
On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Brown will be holding a Zoom Video session on ERB score interpretation in place of the Coffee with Mike. Football and Jump Rope
In P.E.
Grades 5-8 got a chance to get outside and enjoy the weather this week. They finished their football unit focusing on throwing, catching, and kicking skills.
Grades K-2 have started a jumping rope unit which will focus on a variety of different jumps.

Reminder to turn in signed permission slips by May 8th.
Grades 6th-8th go to the Hall of Fame on May 16th.
Grades K-5th go to the Hall of Fame on May 25th.

Track
The track team has a meet on Wednesday, May 9th at Malone at 5:30 p.m.
The championship meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 17th at St. Thomas Aquinas at 4:30 p.m.
Athletics Banquet
The 2018 Athletics Banquet is Monday, May 21st at 5:30 p.m. Forms were sent by email
and with each athlete.
The deadline for returning the form and payment is Monday, May 14th at 8:20 a.m.
NO late forms/payment will be accepted

Girls On The Run
Girls on the Run culminates with a 5K at Walsh at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 19th. We would love for you to come and cheer on the girls!
