The "December Hot
Lunch Menu" will be available to order November 15th. Deadline to order is
November 29, 2017

We have added to the December menu
Beefatoni
, (ground beef with rigatoni noodles, red sauce or plain). This menu option will include french bread, fresh fruit, fresh vegetable, and a light dessert.
- Please keep in mind when ordering and selecting your menu items for the month you must complete the ordering process.
- Be sure that you have added enough "CREDITS" to cover the cost of your menu choices..
- Be sure to "CHECK OUT" the order and "PAY INVOICE" and finally click on "PROCEED". Only when you receive an invoice marked as "PAID" will the order be confirmed.
- Not completing the process will result in an "UNCONFIRMED ORDER". All unconfirmed orders that pass the ordering DEADLINE DATE OF NOV. 29th, will not process, which will result in your child not receiving the anticipated lunch item.
After you activate your account, you will need to input our school code. You are able to enter a different code for each child if necessary.

Our CCDS Middle School will be running a school wide food drive for the Stark County Hunger Task Force, this food drive has been coined the “Hunger Canvention”.
We will begin collecting items from
November 6-10
. This is a county-wide food drive with a goal of providing food for holiday meals for the 25,000 people who are served by their pantries each month. They are hoping that the schools of this community can join together and gather food for their 31 pantries. The intent of this service project is to help students see that they can make a difference in other people's lives.
We are asking families to donate food items that we will donate to the Stark County Hunger Task Force. Donations are listed below by grade level.
Please send the items in no later than Friday, November 10th. A member of the Hunger Task Force will be coming to CCDS on Monday, November 13th to collect the donations.

Annual Giving Fund

What is the Annual Giving Campaign?
The Annual Giving Campaign is made up of yearly gifts from parents, faculty and staff, the Board of Trustees, grandparents, alumni, and friends of the school. Each year is a separate drive designed to meet the
operating needs
of the current year. No donation is too small.

The CCDS Middle School had quite the performance on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Every middle school student had an important role, whether it was set design, acting, or playing in the pit band. It as a wonderful performance!

The middle school enjoyed a special Fall Festival on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
El Dia de los Muertos, also know as the Spanish Day of the Dead was a really fun time.
The students children enjoyed games, face painting, songs and wonderful treats.

CCDS Sports
Cougars at Play begins November 7th!
Information for Cougars at Play was sent home earlier in the year. This intramural program focusing on cooperative and team building activities is open to students in grades 2 - 4. It will meet Tuesdays from November 7th through December 12th, from 3:20 - 4:30 p.m. Registration is now closed. Please contact

The 2017-18 basketball season begins on

There is a parent/athlete meeting this Monday at 4:45 p.m.

CCDS Introduces First Tee Golf Program to Students
In P.E. volunteers from the First Tee Golf Program worked with students (grades K-4) on putting, underhand rolling, and underhand throwing at a target. They also discussed values of fair play and respect during class, and will continue to discuss other values and skills important in golf.
