Important Announcements
Be Strong, Get Your Flu Shot Campaign
Help increase awareness about flu vaccinations! The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is partnering with federal, state of California, and local stakeholders to improve access to annual flu vaccinations for low-income Medicare beneficiaries. Many people 65 years of age and older, individuals with disabilities, and non-English speaking beneficiaries face barriers to preventive health, and information about and access to flu vaccinations is just one of these challenges.

To address these barriers, CMS is asking for your help! CMS officials are launching a multifaceted effort to raise awareness, promote education, and complement existing flu vaccination efforts you are already doing. Consider including information about the importance of an annual flu vaccination in your next newsletter, blog or tweet.

CMS assembled a menu of flu vaccination materials aimed at beneficiaries, providers, and advocates. Resources are available in English and 11 other languages:  Arabic , Armenian , Cambodian , Chinese (simplified) , Farsi , Hmong , Korean , Russian , Spanish , Tagalog , and Vietnamese Click here to view all the materials.
