Dear CCR Supporter -
The shelter is in dire need of funds to keep our doors open!!!
By Saturday, CCR will have admitted 32 animals for the month, many with major and minor illnesses and injuries. Already this month, we have had to hospitalize a puppy, provide orthopedic surgery (for Little Maximo, photo below), provide surgery for a wound, sedate a poor dog that arrived in such poor condition to shave him down and cut his nails out of his paw pads, order costly medicine to treat FOUR dogs for heartworm disease and that's just off the top of my head. CCR really needs tomorrow to be a HUGE success. So......
Please don't forget donations can still be dropped off today and up until 9 am tomorrow!
The Krispy Kreme Donuts will be ready for sale by 8 am. Please pick up a box for Yourself, Family and/or Friends! Or, drop off a box to your favorite local business as a Thank You!
If possible, we're still looking for a few more volunteers for Shift 3 from 2 pm to around 5 pm to assist with the sale and clean up. If you can help out, please email Lisa@chicagocaninerescue.com.
