Note from Mrs. Carmichael - STEMtastic Scholars
Dear CCSMS Families,

We loved kicking off STEMester and Senior Seminar last week with our scholars. This year we have transformed Spring Term into STEMester where Scholars will meet for 10 days spread out over the course of the year with a culminating project at the end of the school year. We will have expo days the final two days of school where you will be invited to see their end products. Scholars will participate in field trips and dive deep into their research throughout the experience.

In Senior Seminar, our Seniors completed dozens of applications and explored ways to prepare for college and careers. We even had a senior come back later in the week to ask for help going over a scholarship essay she learned about at Senior Seminar. A shout out the the class of 2018 for being dedicated to making their senior year count!

It was wonderful to have so many of you join us at Meet the Teacher Night. We appreciate all of the positive feedback and constructive ideas you shared with the administrative team that night. We look forward to seeing many of our families at PTO on Monday at 6pm and the Riptide College Ready Night on Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm .
