Help Us Send our Kids to Chattanooga!

We Need to Raise $3,000!
|
We are excited about the donations that have already started coming in for our Chattanooga Trip scheduled for Saturday, November 8th! Our kids look forward to this trip because it is packed full of activities! We start the day going to Ruby Falls, Rock City, and the Incline Railroad. We stop for lunch and then off to the Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX, all in one day! This trip is so important to the kids because some of them have never been out of state before and for some this is the only trip they have ever been on. With the help of donations from our friends and donors we hope to raise the total cost of the trip, which is $3,000.
If you would like to make a donation on line please go to www.ccyakids.org. If you have any questions, please contact Andrea Brantley- Watkins at 770-333-9447 Ext 116 or [email protected].

Best is Yet to Come Youth Awards Celebration Show!
This year's awards event took place on Friday, August 1st at the Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta, Ga. Our theme was "Life, Camera, Action!" Our kids were showered with awards and medals for all their accomplishments over the past year. It is so touching to see the smiles on our kid's faces when their names are called.
The evening was filled with entertaining music from our CCYA Band and Choir and a praise dance performance by one of our very talented Open Gate girls. One of our boys at Another Chance gave a speech that moved us all. We have some amazing and talented kids living at The Center! This event has become a tradition for the CCYA kids and staff, and we appreciate each and everyone one of you that came out to cheer them on! Your loving support means so much to them and us!

A New Way to Give Recurring Donation Option Now Available
We now have a new online option for making donations. By going through our website www.ccyakids.org, you can choose to set up a recurring donation. You will see this as an option on the "Donate Now" page. This means you can schedule a monthly payment straight from your bank in the amount you choose. It's a great way to make a BIG impact as those donations really add up! If you have any questions, please contact Andrea Brantley- Watkins at 770-333-9947 ext. 116

Breaking Ground at CCYA!
We are excited to be breaking ground on our new Outdoor Recreation Area! After getting through zoning permits we are finally there! We are looking to complete this project shortly after Thanksgiving. After completion, we will have outdoor basketball and volleyball courts as well as an art therapy area with outdoor easels where our kids can paint. There will be an area for picnic tables, umbrellas, and outdoor grills. These are endless benefits for our youth living at The Center for Children & Young Adults. What a great 30th Anniversary gift for The Center!

* Teenage sized Halloween Costumes, we have 39 kids needing costumes!
* Prizes
