We had the opportunity to work with the great staff at the City of Mission's Sylvester Powell Community Center on some mock emergency scenarios involving drowning and chest pain incidents. During these scenarios we covered the actions to take during an emergency; from calling 911 to initiating CPR and using an AED, We discussed what will happen when emergency responders arrive, practiced the transition of care and explained what to expect throughout such an incident.

Training opportunities like these are extremely valuable in preparing personnel for emergency situations. We thank the City of Mission and all of our community partners for collaborating with us on these types of training activities.
