Conference Recap
Donnie is back...!

 

40 Valley of the Sun members descended on Chicago June 27 - July 1 for the CFMA Annual Conference.  As a part of the largest conference ever, attendees were treated to beautiful weather, great sight seeing opportunities, an abundance of pubs and fine eating establishments - and, oh yeah, some great learning opportunities, too!

Get your CCIFP On!
 
This year's CCIFP Overview and Exam dates have been set!  Take advantage of this local opportunity to grow your knowledge and obtain this prestigious certification.  The Overview will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, at FNF Construction's office; and the Exam will take place on Saturday, October 24th, at DPR Construction's office.  Register for the overview here and for exam information and registration click here.

 

The Chapter is once again supporting it's members financially in obtaining their CCIFP certification.  Any member who participates in the Overview and then sits for the exam will be reimbursed for the cost of the Overview ($150).  Any member who then passes the exam will receive a reimbursement of $350 toward the cost of the exam.
Regional Conference
 
The inaugural Southwest Regional Conference is shaping up to be an excellent opportunity for education and networking.  Join other members from Valley of the Sun, Albuquerque, Orange County, and San Diego Chapters in Long Beach, September 13 - 15. UMom Walk for Homeless Families
Join us for this fun family event!
  
Following up on our highly successful Community Service events benefitting UMom - the Back to School supply drive in June and then volunteering at the Back to School night in July, we have the opportunity to support the organization financially at their Walk for Homeless Families - Saturday, September 26th - at the Phoenix Zoo.  All participants get free zoo admission for the entire day!  In addition, your registration and/or donate can go further to help UMom, as the VoS Chapter will be matching the first $1500 in funds earned by our members!
