JENNIS' WESTERN TOUR
'WHY IS LIFE' - ONLY $6
Greetings Dear Friends

At this moment Jennis is in Prince George, BC. We've had a great time so far and are looking forward to our concert at the Midsummer Festival in Smithers this weekend. We'll be back in Southern Ontario in mid July and have a 'homecoming gig' at the Free times Cafe in Toronto on Sat., July 16 - 9am. We'd love to see you there.

This month's article concludes the chakra portion of the series - 'Chakras and the Tree of Life' - seeking an understanding of the way that we humans interface with the vibrational universe. The next newsletter will deal with the Qabala and the Tree of Life.

If you'd like to access past newsletters containing articles on the Big Shift, the Physics of Mysticism, Magic, the Power of Mantra, Conciousness and other topics, please visit the 'newsletter' page of my website:

CHAKRAS AND THE TREE OF LIFE

Part 13 -  CHAKRA SUMMARY

At this point I'd like to reiterate that there are many interpretations of the chakra system which vary in little ways. For example, some say that it is the throat chakra and not the solar plexus that is the seat of the will. Some say that it is the color white and not violet that corresponds to the crown chakra. It is important to note that many chakras have overlapping concerns or that sometimes more than one chakra will be the seat of certain issues. For example, just like in music where the second note of the scale and the fifth note are related, the second and fifth chakras are related, both corresponding to different aspects of creativity. The third and fifth notes, combined with the root note, make up the major chord. The third and fifth chakras are related, both having to do with will. There are many such interrelationships among the chakras.

Some chakras, particularly the even numbers, the second, fourth and sixth, seem to be stronger in females. They are typically more intuitive and have an easier time expressing feelings of love. Males tend to be stronger in chakras one, three and five, the odd numbers. They are usually more concerned with power issues and have an easier time expressing their views. (The seventh chakra is genderless.) Also, different chakras tend to want to open at different points in one's life. For example, at mid-life females tend to become more vocal, to feel the need to express themselves more truly and to be who they really are. Issues at the throat chakra begin to demand attention. Similarly, men at mid-life tend to soften, to allow themselves more expression of love and compassion. Issues at the heart chakra begin to beckon.

The sex act has great potential as a healing tool and one of the objectives of Tantric sex is to align the chakras during sexual union. This allows the male's root chakra to feed the woman's, the woman's sacral chakra to feed the man's, etc. In this way the energy coursing through the united couple, accompanied by pure intention, becomes greatly amplified, with a powerfully increased capacity to heal. Thus every sexual union is an opportunity to see through the illusion of duality, to feel unity and to 'make love'. What better thing can one possibly make?

In the next newsletter we will leave the section on chakras and start to explore the Qabala and the Tree of Life.
