CHARGE ANYWHERE® MOBILE PAYMENT TECHNOLOGY TO BE DISTRIBUTED IN CENTRAL AMERICA
CHARGE Anywhere, LLC and VM&A have signed a partnership agreement to promote CHARGE Anywhere's award-wining payment application and payment gateway in Central America. May 31, 2012 (South Plainfield, NJ) - CHARGE Anywhere® a leading developer and provider of award-winning, secure mobile payment applications and payment gateway solutions, announced today the signing of a partnership program with Valladares Molina & Asociados (VM&A), a consulting firm that specializes in the development and promotion of mobile solutions in the Central American Market.
Based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, VM&A will promote and create awareness within the banking industry of the business potential of incorporating mobile payments in countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
"Central America is a fertile ground for the adoption of mobile payments. Mobile penetration in Latin America and the Caribbean is over 94% and well above the world average of 76%. In Central America, countries like El Salvador and Honduras have passed the 100% penetration milestone. Our clients are looking to incorporate many of their business processes into mobile; payments being on the top of their list," said Luis Valladares, VM&A's General Director.
