NIH Awards $20M Over Five Years to Train Next Generation of Global Health Researchers
With support from a $4 million NIH award, researchers from the University of California, Berkeley, Florida International University, Stanford University and Yale University are establishing a new program to train and educate researchers, educators and professionals who can tackle global health challenges specific to slum dwellings. This program is one of five consortia whereby each consortium will receive $4 million over five years for a total of $20 million awarded.
