 The electronic version of the 4th revised UN GHS was released on 8 Sept 2011 on UNECE's website. CIRS has summarized the main changes in the 4th revised edition of UN GHS and compared the differences between the latest version of UN GHS, the CLP regulation amended in March 2011 and China GHS.

16 Sept 2011, China MEP publishes new statistics regarding the number of registration certificates issued for new chemical substances   

 

Between January and June 2011, China MEP has issued 1,570 registration certificates for new chemical substances. All of them belong to simplified notifications, among which, over 90% of new substances notified are new polymers containing less than 2% new chemical substance weight by weight.
