The STEMM Idol Speaker Series is a great opportunity for all students to see what career opportunities are available in the science, technology, engineering, math and medical fields. We've had some great speakers come through this year including graduates of CJ and returning favorites, like Dr. Jim Olson (who brought human brain specimens to his presentation.)

In April, we will close out the STEMM Idol Speaker Series with Ben Sears, an assistant professor of Unmanned Aerial Systems at Sinclair and Dr. Greg Ramey, with the Center for Pediatric Mental Health Resources at Dayton Children's Hospital.

This summer, we are excited to bring back two STEMM camps for students in grades 7-9 who want to learn more about STEMM fields. Gateway to Technology: The Miami Valley will be held from June 8-12 and Computer Science & Information Technology will be held from June 22-26. You can find out more information here.

We're excited to provide these opportunities to current students and potential future students, so they can enhance their education and build a better future for themselves and others in our community.

Through meetings and other input and guidance from parents, coaches and staff as well as school leadership teams over these last several months, its been determined that CJ will initiate the process of hiring an athletic director this fall, anticipating a start date of employment on July 1, 2016. This time frame maximizes our opportunities to find the best leader for our growing athletic program.
