As Chaminade Julienne is preparing to welcome five to eight new students from other countries next year through our partnership with Cambridge Institute of International Education, we are also seeking CJ families who are interested in hosting their stay. To facilitate this, we are partnering with gphomestay, an educational service company that provides quality homestays for international students attending American high schools.
Students and parents who participate will have the unique opportunity to be an integral part of this international experience. As they welcome students into their homes as new members of their families, they will also learn more about a different culture along the way - and maybe even gain some new recipes and holiday traditions! In return, our new students will enjoy getting involved and learning more about American culture through the experiences of living with their American families.
In addition to taking part in a life-changing experience and having the opportunity to guide young students, host families will also receive a monthly stipend to cover costs that arise with having an extra person in the home. Hosts also have access to ongoing support from a local gphomestay residential coordinator. Students will have their own insurance and spending money.
If you are interested in becoming a host family or looking for more information, please visit gphomestay's website and fill out a Host Inquiry Form. You can contact gphomestay directly at (781) 996-0429.
Should you have any other questions about this program, I'm always available. Thank you for your time and commitment to keeping our community strong. Together, we can foster a powerful learning environment for all of our students.

Sr. Stang Symposium - PARENT EVENT
Thursday, Apr. 30 | 7 p.m. | CJ Auditorium
All CJ parents and students are invited to support our senior students as they present findings from their Senior Capstone Projects at the Sr. Stang Symposium. In addition to learning about topics that are important to today's young adults, you will gain an understanding of how the Senior Capstone Project empowers students to create positive changes in our world. This is also an excellent opportunity for junior students to gather ideas for their own projects for next year, and for junior parents to gain a good understanding of value of the program.
