August 20, 2015

Last evening, we announced a significant step forward in our campus development - the construction of the Roger Glass Stadium:  Home of the Chaminade Julienne Eagles!  An exciting night and an exciting addition to the Catholic educational experience at CJ!

This is the latest campus development project anticipated in the school's 2004 campus master plan.  That plan, and subsequent property acquisitions in our neighborhood over the next few years, prompted LIFT - Leading in Faith Today, the most ambitious fundraising effort in our history.  This $20 million comprehensive campaign has brought to life our CJ STEMM Center (2013), renovations to Building One (2015), Eagle Tennis Center (2011), Student Conditioning Center (2010), and more which is yet to be announced.

Roger Glass Stadium:  Home of the Chaminade Julienne Eagles will will be used by our football, lacrosse, and men and women's soccer teams for conditioning, practice, and competitions.  Our Eagle Pride will also take the field for halftime performances during football games and also use the facilities for practices and performances. The stadium seats 2,150 with two ticket booth gateways to accommodate crowds. If you haven't seen pictures of the stadium on our website yet, take a look below. The stadium will be a magnificent addition to our evolving campus. Construction has already begun and is scheduled to be completed in time for the fall sports season in 2016.

Thank you for continuing to support the CJ community. We are excited to embark in this next adventure with you!
