News   |   Calendar   |   Reminders   |   Community Bulletin

Our international students have arrived! This week, the office of admissions and the student community welcomed our five new students who are beginning to quickly adjust after more than 7,000 miles of travel across the globe. These students were selected specifically by our administrators and educators because of their desire to further their American education as well as learn more about our educational community of faith.

As we go forward with our international student program, we invite CJ families to help support the students by considering becoming a host family. Our school is working with gphomestay, an organization that prepares and connects American families to the international students.

Host families are needed for both short-term and long-term student stays for this year and years to come. Families approved to host students receive an annual $8,000 stipend. If you know someone in the Dayton area who may be interested in hosting a student, you can refer them and receive a referral bonus when they are approved to host.

If you have any questions about this program or would be interested in applying to become a host family, you can find more information here.
