Great news! The new and improved CJ website was launched this week with a mobile friendly version for easier browsing on the go. We invite you to browse through the new site as you prepare for the new school year - now just two weeks away. As you look through it, you will notice our new Community section. This category has information valuable for students (Office of Student Services), parents, alumni, and details about youth programs.

2015 - 2016 TUITION STATEMENTS

 

The business office is currently processing 2015-2016 tuition statements which will be sent out by August 7th. For those families who applied for the Ohio Educational Choice, Jon Peterson, or Autism Scholarships, statements will be sent out once all signed acceptance forms have been received from all families

 

We apologize for the delay this year and really appreciate your patience as we continue to work through a transition within our office and with the many families who have called us this past week.  We are sorry for any inconvenience and for the frustration that this may have caused for some.

 

As we are taking this coming week to finalize the statements, our response time to calls may be longer - thanks in advance for understanding. Please do call if you have a question and remember to leave contact information. You are also welcome to stop by the business office any time Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Golf Outing - Some Staff Out of Offices

Monday, Aug. 3
Several staff members will be working the Athletic Hall of Fame Golf Outing on Monday, Aug. 3. The Office of Student Services, Athletic and Alumni & Development offices will be closed. The Welcome Center and Business office will remain open from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. The Guidance office will be open from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Ohio Educational Choice Scholarship
Program Changes

Attention all families who participated in the Ohio Educational Choice Scholarship volunteer program for the 2014-2015 school year:

 

CJ's adult volunteer partnership with Goodwill Easter Seals will end on July 31, 2015. Please note that volunteer hours already completed or scheduled to be completed through Goodwill Easter Seals will be honored.

All families who had participated in the volunteer program during the 2014-2015 school year will receive further details in the mail.  The link for the new volunteer time sheet can be found here or on the Parent tab on our website. This sheet is due to the business office at the end of each month.  

The volunteer program is only available to students who attended CJ and received the Ohio Educational Choice Scholarship during the 2014-2015 school year.   Please contact Katie Malloy, tuition coordinator, at 461-3740 x211 if you have any questions or do not receive a letter by Tuesday, Aug. 11.

PERFORMING ARTS

Performing Arts Meet and Greet Picnic
Monday, Aug. 10  |  6 p.m.  |  Delco Park
If you are involved in any CJ performing arts class, instrumental or choral group, improv or theatre ensemble, or you would like to try something new this year, please join us for a meet and greet picnic on Monday, Aug. 10 at Delco Park, Shelter #2. Please bring a blanket or chairs. Meat and drinks will be provided. Fall Pictures
Schedule Released
Click here (look under the News section) for the fall sport picture schedule.  Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time and have the picture order form filled out completely.  Please have exact change, check or credit card number as there will be no change available at the shoot. On Wednesday, Aug. 19, all fall senior athletes should arrive by 5:20 p.m. before the Meet the Eagles for the Fall Program cover photo.

Patron Ad Fee

Due September 25, 2015

The Patron/Advertising fee directly supports all student activities and participation is recognized by athletics, drama, music, yearbook, and the school newspaper. Students have the opportunity to sell a patron line or advertisement in place of payment of the $125 fee. Patron/advertising contracts are now available in person and online. ACT / SAT Pre-Registration                                           

Select Saturdays, 8 a.m.
Click  here to see the dates the ACT and SAT will be administered at CJ.  Students must pre-register online with the testing agencies in order to attend and  must present a photo ID before they are admitted for testing . Sports Physicals Available
Little Clinics, Now Until Sept. 30, $33
The Little Clinic inside select Kroger stores is offering sports physicals for $33 now until Sept. 30. Little Clinic locations can be found in Kettering, Centerville, Beavercreek, Miamisburg, Vandalia, and Englewood. Athletes will need to bring: OHSAA pre-participation physical form (found  here ) with the medical history section completed prior to the visit and the patient's immunization records. A parent or guardian must present photo ID prior to the exam. More details and location information can be found  here.

K12 Gallery & TEJAS Back to School Event
Saturday, Aug. 15  |  9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
K12 Gallery & TEJAS in partnership with Crayons to Classrooms is hosting a Back to School event for preschoolers to adults. Register here for one of the three 90-minute art-making categories: preschool (ages 3-
5); elementary school (ages 6-11); teen (12-17); life-long
learners (18 and over); multi-generational. Admission to this free event is one school supply item to help low-income students in our community.
