Tonight, the performing arts department will host our final concert of the school year, Picnic with the Pops. This community event will feature local food trucks at 5:30 p.m., pre-show entertainment from The Busted Box and the Monday Night Project at 6 p.m. and performances from a capella groups Vega and Age V, concert band, concert choir, string ensemble, and Hands in Harmony (sign language) beginning at 7 p.m. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis so families are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.

While we say good-bye to our seniors at tonight's concert, we're also looking ahead to the 2015-2016 school year. Auditions for Vega and Age V will be next week. You can find more information about the audition process here. Incoming freshmen also interested in concert band, concert choir, string ensemble, Eagle Pride, or other CJ performing arts activities can fill out an activity interest form here.

We hope you bring your family and friends to tonight's concert, and we look forward to continue bringing you great performances next year as well.

Parents of the Class of 2015
Requirement for Graduation Participation

Participation in the graduation ceremony is considered a privilege. The school administration may refuse to allow graduating seniors to participate in the ceremony for academic, discipline or financial reasons. We have reminded seniors that they are expected to continue their high standards of academic performance and behavior between now and graduation. This is a time when our community should be focused on celebrating all that the class of 2015 has meant.

We also remind parents of members of the class of 2015  that any  outstanding tuition or fee balances must be resolved as soon as possible.  Those with outstanding balances will receive an updated year-end statement on Friday, May 15.   Payment for final account balances must be received by credit card or in cash by Friday, May 22. Please contact Katie Malloy at 461-3740 x211 if you have any questions.
