Funding Opportunities
Sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the
RWJF Culture of Health Prize recognizes and celebrates communities that have placed a priority on health and are creating powerful partnerships and deep commitments to make change. Up to 10 winning communities will each receive a $25,000 cash prize and have their success stories celebrated and shared broadly to inspire locally-driven change across the nation. Phase I applications for all applicant communities are due on November 12, 2015
The Jefferson College of Population Health (JCPH), in partnership with Hearst Health, is accepting submissions for the
Hearst Health Prize. Population health is essential to transforming from an illness-centered healthcare system to one focused on protecting and improving health. The prize was created to help promote promising new ideas in the field that will help to improve health outcomes, and thus proliferate best practices more rapidly. The goal is to discover, support and showcase the work of an individual, group, organization or institution that has successfully implemented a population health program or intervention that has made a measurable difference. The winner will receive a $100,000 cash prize in recognition of outstanding achievement in managing or improving population health. Applications will be accepted through October 23, 2015 at 11:59PM (ET).
Evidence for Action, a program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and administered by the University of California, San Francisco, is an investigator-initiated research program. We are interested in funding innovative approaches that will shed light on conditions that foster a Culture of Health. In the initial phase of funding, we are seeking proposals that guide action, open up new areas for inquiry, and facilitate future research. We are especially interested in research that will help develop the data and evidence necessary to improve health and equity in communities across the country.
